I work with clients who have experienced complex trauma during childhood – often at the hands of trusted others and within close relationships. These early experiences can lead to significant psychological difficulties later in life, including chronic dissociation, emotional dysregulation, and difficulties with identity and relationships.
My clinical work focuses on supporting clients with trauma-related conditions such as Complex PTSD and Dissociative Disorders, including Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). Many of the people I work with have lived with the impacts of trauma for a long time and may not have felt fully understood or supported in previous therapeutic settings.
I am trained in a number of evidence-based, trauma-focussed therapies, including compassion focussed therapy (CFT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). I’m a member of the European Society for Trauma and Dissociation (ESTD) and work as an associate psychotherapist at the Complex Trauma and Dissociation Clinic.
