If you’re a successful professional struggling with your psychological health, then you’ve come to the right place.
I’m a warm, friendly and highly qualified psychotherapist, trained in a number of different psychological therapies. A successful entrepreneur and high achiever myself, I know the impact this can have on your mental and physical health and know what works to help you get your life back on track and so you can enjoy your success.
I’d been to therapy several times before I met Zoë and she has helped me more than any psychotherapist. She is warm, friendly, super knowledgeable and professional. She just ‘got me’ and I can’t begin to tell you how she has helped me and get back to where I want to be in life – I know she can help you too”. Paula
How I work with clients
I understand your time is very precious and I can offer you highly professional, discrete and confidential psychological support to help you move past your issues and enjoy your success as quickly as possible.
I work with many clients online, or if you prefer you can visit me in my consulting rooms in Wilmslow, Alderley Edge and central Manchester. I offer early morning appointments to suit many of my busy clients.
I support adults struggling with a wide range of psychological issues. I specialise in helping people deal with excessive stress, anxiety and panic attacks and trauma, including recovery from sexual abuse and narcissistic abuse. I help my clients get to the root of their problems, manage and improve their symptoms and, most importantly, start to thrive and live the life they want to live. I also work with young people.
What you can expect from working with me
You should know that I work with people who are motivated to change and keen to learn. I’m probably not the right psychotherapist for you if you are just looking for someone to listen talk through your problems with.
Each client I work with is unique. I offer calm, warm, compassionate and collaborative support to every client. However, I take care and time to tailor a personalised therapeutic approach for each person I work with to ensure I support them in the best way possible. This is no ‘one-size-fits-all’ therapy and I ensure I do not take on too many clients so I can give each person I work with the time, care and attention they need.
My therapeutic approach draws on a number of evidence-based psychological models including, Compassion-Focussed Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy [ACT], Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Positive Psychology and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT). You can find out more information in my FAQs.
