More about me
I have a keen personal interest in meditation, yoga, being in nature and especially mountains, which I also incorporate into my work with clients. My gentle giant therapy dog, Rupert, also makes a regular appearance in online therapy sessions and many clients find his presence calming and comforting.
In my previous professional career I was a teacher and bring my considerable experience in teaching and training into therapy to help explain sometimes complex psychological topics to my clients in way that is understandable and relatable. Prior to becoming a psychotherapist I also founded Mind Moose, a successful social technology company building digital tools to support early intervention in children’s mental health. This allows me to understand some of the challenges faced by my adult clients who are usually busy, successful professionals and to be an expert in supporting children and young people.
