Your body holds many signs and signals for you, that we all can so easily ignore. This is not something most of us learnt growing up, but it is a great skill we can learn now. Our emotions are all felt in our bodies (anxious tummy or tight chest anyone?). So, learning to tune into how your body is an essential emotional wellbeing skill. It can help you to calm your mind, identify and express your feelings and lead to an overall greater sense of wellbeing. Try practicing this free guided mindfulness mediation audio every day for a week and just notice, with curiosity, what happens for you.

Mindful eating guided audio

We can all find ourselves eating too quickly, not noticing what we’re eating and not really focussing on what’s going on right now. However, mindful eating is a really good way to practice being mindful. As a bonus you get to savour the food you are eating, be fully present in the experience of eating and nourishing yourself. Give this short audio a try to learn and practice mindful eating.
